In Deception's Shadow:
Betrayal's Price
For some, rebirth is not a reward.
Ashayna, warrior-scout for her father's army, hides a terrible shame. She is host to a mysterious force she doesn’t understand and can’t control—one which puts her very life at risk should the magic-hating priests ever unearth her secret.
Help comes from an unlikely source when she crosses swords with Sorntar, Crown Prince of the Phoenix. Through Sorntar she discovers she is host to a Larkin—a volatile spirit creature of vast power. If she can trust the word of a man who is part avian, he is host to her Larkin's other half.
When Ashayna and Sorntar are accused of possessing Larkins corrupted by an ancient evil, they must work together to discover what happened in the past to pit one bondmate against another.
Although the human warrior and the phoenix prince often clash during their search to unravel the mystery, nevertheless they are entangled by an unbreakable bond—but is it love, or the manipulations of a deadly enemy?
In Deception's Shadow:
Herd Mistress
Magic. It turned Sorsha Stonemantle's world on its head. Yet she can't hate magic or that she is host to a Larkin, for without those life changing events Shadowdancer, the Santhyrian ambassador, would never have come into her life.
In the days following their first meeting, Sorsha knows Shadowdancer completes her soul. There's only one problem. He's a horse, or at least, enough like one that her growing love is impossibly doomed before it's even fully formed.
Since Shadowdancer first scented Sorsha, he knew she was a Herd Mistress—a rare worker of magic, key to the Santhyrian nation's survival. His first obligation is to protect her and bring her back to the safety of the herd, but when Sorsha is threatened by Lord Master Trensler and his priesthood, they soon discover Trensler serves a darker master, one willing to devour all magic until the world dies and everything in it. And it wants Shadowdancer and Sorsha, and through them the rest of the Twelve.
When an ambush set by Trensler traps Shadowdancer in the form a man, Sorsha sets out to teach Shadowdancer that being human isn't a curse. The proud santhyrian stubbornly tries to push Sorsha away, but when they are endangered once again the two must work together to find a way to heal themselves in order to help the rest of the Twelve. If they fail, Trensler will devour first them and then everything else Sorsha and Shadowdancer ever loved.

The Avatars:
Stone's Kiss
As a child, a near-drowning accident stole Lillian’s old life. Her new life began the moment she awoke at the foot of a brooding, stone gargoyle.
Years later, Lillian still finds comfort in Gregory, her gargoyle, never guessing he is more than cold stone until demonic creatures called the Riven attack. Gregory senses her terror and wakes from his healing sleep.
After the battle, Lillian learns the humans she thought were her family are a powerful coven of witches at war with the Riven. Lillian is something more than human, a powerful worker of magic, an Avatar to the gods. Gregory has been her protector for many lifetimes, but troubles in their homeland forced him to flee with her to the human world. And it wasn’t an accident which stole her memories—it was Gregory. He suspects Lillian is host to an infant demon, one capable of evil greater than the Riven.
Despite everything, Lillian fears she’s falling in love with her guardian. While she might be able to defeat the Riven with Gregory’s help, she doesn’t know if her fragile new love can survive the evil growing in her own soul...
